Mary Millben, a popular American singer, sings India’s national anthem,  Jana Gana Mana, and touches the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take blessing at the event for PM Modi’s official site visit.

Millben, who is a 38-year-old singer, sang the Indian national anthem at the program, which was held at the international trade center and Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. This event program was hosted by the Indian community foundation of the United States.

Mary Millben is a famous African American singer and Hollywood actress. She enjoyed a lot of popularity in India after singing the Indian national anthem,  Jan Gana Mana and Om Jai Jagdish Hare and touching the feet of PM Narender Modi.

Before the program started, Millben said that she was “ deeply honored”  to seek the opportunity to perform the Indian national anthem for Indian PM Narender Modi.

While singing the national anthem and music for the four US presidents, she said that I am deeply honored to perform the national anthem for PM Modi. In this way, she honors the country and the people I come to call my family. It shows the good relationships between the US and India. Further, she also said that a free country is only described by free people.

Leaders appreciate her gesture.

There were many leaders present at the event who reacted to the gesture of the mary million. The chief minister of Assam,  Himanta Biswa Sarma, tweeted that the Indian culture highlights beauty because the values transcend effortless boundaries.

The leaders also appreciate the singer’s gesture when she touches the feet of PM Modi. She said that she respects the lot to the ancient values. It represents the idea of one family, one earth, and one future.

MP of the BJP party, Col Rajyavardhan Rathore, said that from New Papua Guinea in the east to the United States in the west, PM Narender Modi is considered a charismatic leader who gives commands for admiration and respect that transcends international borders.

People show their respect and love towards PM Narender Modi from all over the world. It indicates the root of Indian culture and values among people.

Last month, during a visit to Papua New Guinea, the PM of the Pacific Island nation also touched the feet of PM Modi to show respect. A gesture was performed by women and men when the PM was leaving the country, as they bowed in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their heads touching the ground.
