Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Pledges ₹1 Crore & Job for Shubhkaran’s Family in Farmers’Protest

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday introduced that the family of Shubhkaran Singh, who died in farmers’ protest at the Khanuri border, can be given financial assistance of 1 crore. The government is also going to give jobs to her younger sister.

The family of Shubhkaran Singh, who died in a farmer’s action at the Khanauri border, can be given financial assistance of 1 crore by Punjab authorities and a government job to her elder sister. Due legal action might be taken in opposition to culprits,” Mann said in his post.

Who is Shubhkaran Singh

On Wednesday, the Shubhkaran Singh killed at Khanauri Border. In this clashes, the 12 police officer were also killed. The incident happened whilst a few protesting farmers had been seeking to head in the direction of barricades.

Shubhkaran Singh, 21 year old farmer lost his life in farmer protest on Wednesday. He joins the farmer protest on 13 February, when the farmers disagreed to government and restarts the Delhi Chalo March. Shubh was resident of Baloke Village in Bathinda district, was killed in clash at Khanauri border.

Shubhkaran died in Farmer protest

As we tell you, Shubh Karan Singh reportedly died after he was injured in a conflict with police at the Khanauri border. On Wednesday, he was rushed to Government Rajindra Hospital in Patiala, in which damage on his head was observed. On this, protestors claim that he was killed by police firing in farmer protest.  Reportedly, medical doctors stated that Singh was hit by a rubber bullet. On Wednesday,  Haryana Police had denied the file of the death, announcing that no farmer had died.

He was live with his two sisters, grandmother, and father Charanjeet Singh. His father works as the driver of college van. Shubhkaran was worried about animal husbandry and owned about 3 acres of land and had some livestock.

Shubhkaran joined the Farmer protest on 13 February

On 13 February, Shubhkaran joined the farmer protest and killed at Khanauri border. He join the protest after the day farmers pushed to stop the protest.

A day earlier, Shubhkaran organized breakfast for himself and different farmers at the protest site near the Punjab-Haryana border. Shubhkaran reportedly asked them to sit and have breakfast together and said, “They may not get every other risk to proportion a food or sit down collectively”.
