Justice, transparency and fairness- Lok Sabha passed the 3 criminal law bills

Today, the new 3 criminal law bills have been passed in Lok Sabha to promote fairness, Justice and transparency. The objective of the 3 criminal laws bills is to reform the criminal justice system in the country and bring the justice system in the country. The 2023 Indian Justice Code Bill, the 2023 Indian Civil Defense Code bills, and the 2023 Indian Evidence Bill have been approved by Lok Sabha. These new three bills will replace the 1860 Indian Penal Code, 1898 Code of Criminal Procedure, and 1872 Indian Evidence Act.

3 new criminal Laws

During the discussion on these three bills in Lok Sabha, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the proposed laws had been prepared after significant deliberations, and he had long gone through every stage and full prevent of the draft legislation before bringing them before the House for approval. He said current criminal laws mirror a colonial mentality intended to punish instead of providing Justice.

Provisions in support of women  

New provisions associated with terrorism, crimes against girls, treason and mob lynching have been brought within the new law. This is the first authority, which has fulfilled the promises stated in its manifesto. They cancelled Article 370. AFSPA has been removed from 70 per cent of areas in the northeastern states. It Banned 3 divorces and gave 33 per cent reservation to girls in Parliament.

Provision regarding the mob lynching 

While passing those 3 law bills, Amit Shah stated that this bill provides for the death penalty in mob lynching. He said that Congress chief P. Chidambaram started asking me about mob lynching, and he does not understand the BJP and our mentality. But why did Congress not punish mob lynching in the course of your rule? If one has an Indian mind, you will understand the legal guidelines. But if it is Italian, you might not understand. New laws abolished the regulation of treason.
