Lalu Yadav’s Promote ‘Modi ka Parivar’ Campaign- Rahul Gandhi as ‘Chowkidar’

Top BJP leaders, along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, on Monday delivered the “Modi ka Parivar” slogan on their handles on the X platform. The development came hours after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav stated at a rally that the Prime Minister “does now not have a family of his own”.

The new campaign, Modi Ka Parivar, is paying homage to the 2019 “Main bhi Chowkidar Hoon” marketing campaign, which was prompted by Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s statement “Chowkidar chor hai”.

The word “Chowkidar” gained prominence after Modi began using it when he became the Prime Minister in 2014. The Congress MP had made the comments, even accusing Modi of corruption within the Rafale fighter jet deal.

Just before the elections happened in May 2019, the Prime Minister launched the poll marketing campaign in March of that year by posting a video on X (then Twitter) with the hashtag #MainBhiChowkidar. Some of the alternative pinnacle BJP leaders who have placed the ‘Modi ka Parivar’ slogan on their profiles on X encompass Union Ministers Anurag Thakur, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Piyush Goyal etc.

What PM Modi says on “Modi Ka Parivar”

Earlier in the day, at the same time as addressing a public assembly in Telangana’s Adilabad, the Prime Minister said that his new slogan ahead of the Lok Sabha polls this year is “you’re Modi’s and Modi is yours”.

He also said that whole state is pronounce in same tone these days, Modi ka Parivar. While addressing the ‘Jan Vishwas Maha Rally’ at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Sunday, Lalu Yadav criticised the Prime Minister over his feedback on nepotism,

“People with more youngsters are subjected to humiliation over the problem,” the former Bihar Chief Minister said, adding that Modi “does not have a family of his personal”. In his deal at the public meeting in Adilabad, Telangana, the Prime Minister also stated that “crores of people of the country. Keep in mind me as their personal, as a member in their family”.

“I say to 140 crore people that this is my own family. Those who’ve no person additionally belong to Modi, and Modi belongs to them.” the Prime Minister delivered

The development follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address in Telangana’s Adilabad, at some point in which he expressed, “My family comprises 140 crore countrymen. Today, the daughters, mothers, and sisters of the country, along with every impoverished individual, are a part of the Modi family. Even the ones without kinship are embraced by Modi, and Modi is theirs. With an extension of those sentiments, I stay for you, combat for you, and will persist in operating towards gratifying my desires with unwavering dedication – My India, My Family.”
