The BJP, which contested 23 seats, received constituencies, even as the Congress bagged best one seat. AAP, Aam Aadmi party drew blank because they have only 4 seats for contestants this time.

Meanwhile, three women candidates received the meeting election in the country – ZPM’s Baryl Vanneihsangi and Lalrinpuii from Aizawl South-III and Lunglei East constituencies, respectively, and MNF candidate Prova Chakma. Beyond this, no other women was Mizoram MLA.
