In Chandigarh, from the St Kabir Public School, the class 12th student, Arjun Singh Bhatia, is selected by the Indian Golf Union. He will represent the country in the 36th open golf Bangladesh championship. This golf championship will be held from 8 march to 11 march 2023 in Dhaka.
Bhatia, the name of the schoolboy, is currently in the leader merit list of IGU Junior Boys’ of A Category. In the previous year, he won the IGU NCR cup in Delhi and IGU junior boys championship in western India. He also finished 2nd at the junior boy’s all-India championship. Overall, he has around seven podium finishes in 2022 on the IGU circuit.
