Chandigarh’s Gas Leak Panic: 1,600 Schoolchildren sent home

On Wednesday, there was a gas leak panic in Chandigarh in the morning, due to which 1600 schoolchildren were sent to their homes. The principal of the school, Archana Nagrath, said to the news agency that there was a lot of gas around, and our staff rushed to turn off the electricity at the school. Then the school management called the police and local councillor because there was a lot of gas scare.

On this, the Anindita Mitra commissioner also confirmed that they ordered the FIR to take action against the contractor.
