On 28 August, the mayor of Chandigarh, Anup Gupta, initiated the renovated medical officer office of Hea. This health and sanitation department is inaugurated at the 30-bay building in the presence of IAS Commissioner Ms. Anindita Mitra, Sh. Sorabh Joshi, officers and area councilor of MCC, and safari karmachari president, along with the Union members and Office bearers.
The MOH building has a new look, with enough space for officers to work, along with enough space to keep office records. The different computer sections with counters have been provided in the new office. The blocks of toilets separately have been renovated with the plumbing and modern fixtures. Moreover, the seating area for the safari workers, safari karmachari office, and union members has also been provided in the renovated building.
