This star was born on 12th December 198o0 in Mumbai to Ashok Shukla and their mother, Rita Shukla. His native place is located in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. He had completed his schooling at St Xavier’s High school, Fort. He had graduated from Rachana Sansad school of interior design.
He started his acting career in the early days of 2004. He was the runner up in the Glad rags Manhunt contest of Mega models. In the year 2005, he represented India at the World’s Best model contest held in Turkey.
