However, he also announced the name of the place of the landing crash of chandrayaan-2 as Tiranga Point. He said the Chandrayaan-2 left its footprint in 2019 on the lunar surface. Further, PM Modi said it is our National pride on the Moon. Our India is today Bold and Brave India that became by the Chandrayaan-3 success.

PM Narendra Modi ji visited ISRO in Bengaluru to congratulate the team of scientists for a successful touchdown of the Chandrayaan-3 lander on 23 August. He visited Bengaluru immediately after returning from two national visits to South Africa and Greece. He accorded a warm reception when he reached ISRO headquarters on Saturday morning in Bengaluru.
Then, he met a team of scientists with ISRO, an Indian space research organisation involved in the moon mission. PM Modi joined the team of ISRO scientists to witness the historical Vikram lander landing on the Moon from South Africa. At that time, he attended the 15th BRICS Summit.
PM Modi is welcomed by the ISRO chairman, S Somanath, personally. They both greet each other with a hug; that was more of a celebration of this successful lunar landing on the Moon.
